This would staff services to prepare and retain all necessary documentation; file, obtain and deliver required documents and permits, provide disbursement checks, report to Social Security, a receipted account of goods and services and Certified copies of Death Certificates.
Includes transfer of the deceased from their place of death to our facility for preparation and sheltering, crematory or cemetery of choice. This is a 24 hour service and includes staff, a transfer vehicle and special equipment.

Balboa Park - Santa Fe Room - 3 hours $328.00 More Info
The Santa Fe Room is a medium sized banquet/meeting hall located in the Balboa Park Club building. It costs $328.00 for 3 hours ($82.00 for each additional hour) and holds 80 people.
Urns and flowers are permitted, but no caskets. Outside food is permitted, and on-site equipment includes a podium, PA system, microphones, tables, and chairs at no extra charge.
The San Diego Woman’s Club is a beautiful historic colonial-style Clubhouse that is centrally located near Balboa Park in Bankers Hill. There is a large stage and spacious solid maple wooden floor. Private rooms for meetings and a lovely reception/lounge area are additional amenities. There is also an on-site kitchen and catering service.
The hourly cost for weekdays is $350.00 during the day and $700.00 for dinnertime, plus a $500.00 deposit to be refunded within two weeks. Saturday events cost $1700.00. The main room accommodates 200-375 people depending on table and chair arrangement. On-site equipment available at no extra cost.
The Sweetwater Woman’s Club has a long and respected history in the Sweetwater Valley as a social center. The Clubhouse hall is available throughout the year for weddings, memorials, receptions and other events.
The cost is $95.00 per hour for the first 4 hours, and $50 for each additional hour, and the room accommodates 130 people. Urns and flowers are permitted, but no caskets. Tables, chairs, and a podium are included, and the sound system is available for an extra $75.00.
Built in 1942, it served as a place of worship for thousands of Naval Training recruits and servicemen. When the base was decommissioned in 1997 the chapel evolved into a very special event venue. The North Chapel welcomes all types of services and offers all the conveniences and comfort of a traditional church in a beautiful historic setting.
The cost is $500.00 for 3 hours and $150 for each additional hour. The main chapel can accommodate 500 people and the McMillian Room can hold 400. On-site catering is provided but food is not permitted in the main chapel area. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like cardboard, or fiberboard. This service includes but is not limited to, the availability and work done by our funeral director(s) and staff on behalf of the purchaser. This would staff services to prepare and retain all necessary documentation; file, obtain and deliver required documents and permits, provide disbursement checks, report to Social Security, a receipted account of goods and services and Certified copies of Death Certificates.
Includes transfer of the deceased from their place of death to our facility for preparation and sheltering, crematory or cemetery of choice. This is a 24 hour service and includes staff, a transfer vehicle and special equipment.
Any services held at a location other than the Basic Funerals Chapel in San Diego are applicable to an additional $200 setup fee. Please see 'Additional Services' for details.
Our charge for a Basic Cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, removal of remains, transportation to the crematory, alternative container and crematory fee as well as one (1) death certificate, the disposition permit and the consumer affairs fee.

Many families use Basic Funerals to have the complete visitation and funeral service at their family church or facility of their choice. Basic Funerals specializes in completely taking care of everything for these types of services.
Balboa Park - Santa Fe Room - 3 hours $328.00 More Info
The Santa Fe Room is a medium sized banquet/meeting hall located in the Balboa Park Club building. It costs $328.00 for 3 hours ($82.00 for each additional hour) and holds 80 people.
Urns and flowers are permitted, but no caskets. Outside food is permitted, and on-site equipment includes a podium, PA system, microphones, tables, and chairs at no extra charge.
The San Diego Woman’s Club is a beautiful historic colonial-style Clubhouse that is centrally located near Balboa Park in Bankers Hill. There is a large stage and spacious solid maple wooden floor. Private rooms for meetings and a lovely reception/lounge area are additional amenities. There is also an on-site kitchen and catering service.
The hourly cost for weekdays is $350.00 during the day and $700.00 for dinnertime, plus a $500.00 deposit to be refunded within two weeks. Saturday events cost $1700.00. The main room accommodates 200-375 people depending on table and chair arrangement. On-site equipment available at no extra cost.
The Sweetwater Woman’s Club has a long and respected history in the Sweetwater Valley as a social center. The Clubhouse hall is available throughout the year for weddings, memorials, receptions and other events.
The cost is $95.00 per hour for the first 4 hours, and $50 for each additional hour, and the room accommodates 130 people. Urns and flowers are permitted, but no caskets. Tables, chairs, and a podium are included, and the sound system is available for an extra $75.00.
Built in 1942, it served as a place of worship for thousands of Naval Training recruits and servicemen. When the base was decommissioned in 1997 the chapel evolved into a very special event venue. The North Chapel welcomes all types of services and offers all the conveniences and comfort of a traditional church in a beautiful historic setting.
The cost is $500.00 for 3 hours and $150 for each additional hour. The main chapel can accommodate 500 people and the McMillian Room can hold 400. On-site catering is provided but food is not permitted in the main chapel area. Each room contains an easel and a podium, and the facility offers tables and chairs, all free of charge (may include setup fee), as well as an organ and a piano in the chapel.

The Coronado Community Center is located in the Coronado Civic Center complex at 1845 Strand Way. This community room is a popular venue for events that accommodates up to 250 people with a fully equipped kitchen and spectacular views of Glorietta Bay. The cost is $500.00 per hour for the full room and $250.00 per hour for the half room. Catering is available from a list of approved caterers and on-site equipment includes a podium, easels, A/V equipment, tables, and chairs, all included in the rental price.
